Little Inventors wants children to open their eyes to the world of invention and creativity. But beyond the invention drawings, there is a unique opportunity for children and makers, designers and artists to come together and collaborate to bring children’s imagination to life.
By taking children’s ideas seriously and presenting them in a professional manner through collaboration with skilled makers, we will help showcase children’s original ideas, perspectives and voices.
We also want to challenge the skills and experience of adult makers, and encourage them to push beyond their own limits by engaging with the highly imaginative and unhindered minds of young children.

Hello, my name is Robert and I am very excited to partake in making a little inventor's idea come to life! I am in my final year at OCAD University and think this is a wonderful opportunity to apply my skills, while learning and growing along the way. When I am not working on class assignments or personal art projects, I enjoy reading and playing video games.
The creativity of young minds is a driving inspiration for my work. I enjoy re-contextualizing children's artwork through in-depth collaboration with my craft work. Mixed media elements allow me to fully describe the emotion of a piece and reiterate unconventional characteristics of children's designs.

I am an engineer who loves inventing things that everyone says are impossible. From catapults to cars, I enjoy inventing it all. I am currently working for a company making custom fit 3D printed footwear!

After a career in woodworking I can now devote my time to designing and building
kinetic art.
I am a visual artist with a background in textiles, theatre, film and installations. I deliver workshops in educational and community settings with a strong focus on Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. I love working with all ages to create new work. Collaborating with children spark wonderful conversations and new approaches to the making process.
